Spa Resort Sanssouci Gets Czech Republic`s Leading Spa Resort 2011 Award

190 000 professionals active in the holiday industry worldwide chose the winners of the 18^th year of the prestigious World Travel Awards. The Spa Resort of the Czech Republic category was won by Spa Resort Sanssouci.

Its owner, one of the most accomplished Czech spa companies, Imperial Karlovy Vary Group, received this WTA award for a fifth time in a row since 2005; whereas theImperial Hotel was awarded three times.

The victory of Spa Resort Sanssouci proves the fact that the 180-million investment into its overall reconstruction, one third of which was covered by the European Reconstruction and Development Fund/Northwest Regional Operational Program, was the right step to make even at the time of the world crisis.

The Imperial Karlovy Vary Group significantly contributed to both higher employment and the prosperity of local businesses as well as the spa city`s incomes derived from high-quality 675-bed accommodation capacity.
